Shaoshan Science & Technology Park
Shaoshan Science & Technology Park is located by the Shanghai-Ruili Highway with convenient transportation: 3 km to Shaoshan Railway Station; 90 km to Changsha Huanghua International Airport with highway accessible; 3 km to Shaoshan city center; 40 km from Xiangtan City and 75 km from Changsha. The Provincial Road S208 runs through the park.
The park has a number of promising enterprises with several provincial-level leading enterprises in agriculture industrialization and veterinary medicine enterprises with GMP certification. The park is “Hunan Shaoshan Bio-Pharmaceutical Industrial Base”. The first-phase of planned area is 1.6 km with large extendable area to southeast. Infrastructure construction is in full swing. Investment to the first-phase infrastructure is 200 million RMB focusing on bio-pharmaceutical and advanced manufacture industry.
Besides preferential policies formulated by governments of all levels for various trades, enterprises in this park also enjoy preferential policies for Chinese Revolutionary Bases and hi-tech zones as well as preferential policies for Shaoshan Science & Technology Park. It aims at developing into one of Hunan’s main parks and important part of Hunan hi-tech system within 10-15 years.
