Shaoshan Yongquan Science Park is a hi-tech park at the provincial level established with approval of Hunan provincial government. The park, which is located in Shaoshan, the hometown of Chairman Mao Tse-tung and a famous historic and scenic spot at the national level as well, can enjoy the preferable policies for provincial hi-tech zones and for former revolutionary bases. Presently there are more than ten enterprises in the park, majoring in various fields from biological medicine, lead-acid battery to steel construction manufacturing, etc. and logistics distribution services are urgently needed.
